Versatility is a young people's group for ages 13+ that encourages teens in developing awareness of their roles in their families, communities, cities, countries, and greater global societies. We explore documentaries and news clips that illustrate greater social issues. The focus is on East African Youth.
After School Program serves students who are in or above 3rd grade. We provide homework help and academic enrichment activities. Our staff provide East African language access to parents and students in Kiswahili, Oromo and Somali.
Parent meetings will begin in 2009 in order to bring parents of students together to explore topics such as communicating with Seattle Public Schools, understanding local police and security systems, and general parenting issues.
