Rainier Vista Girl Scouts – Skills for Life is an after-school program solely for girls ages 5 to 17 on Tuesdays, 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. in the Rainier Vista Youth Tutoring Office. Girl Scouts staff members assists girls in building character and skills for success in today’s world. In partnership with committed volunteer adults, girls develop qualities that serve them all their lives – like strong values, social conscience and conviction about their own potential and self-worth. Girls are encouraged to participate in a variety of opportunities for service learning, and indoor and outdoor adventures.  Volunteers are welcome to serve as mentors, troop assistants, guest presenters, special event helpers, etc.
