Horn of Africa Services is a multi-lingual, multicultural, organization offering support and advocacy services in response to the health, employment, housing, educational and social service needs for East African refugees and immigrants living in the greater Seattle area. This is accomplished by providing East Africans with an atmosphere for positive and supportive interaction and learning; offering information, guidance and referral assistance for accessing social and other related services; assisting with the development of new skills; and playing a strong advocacy role to ensure that none of its clients are denied legitimate social or related amenities. HOA currently offers Outreach and Community Mobilization, Citizenship and ESL Classes, Computing/Technology Lab, Income Generating Activities, and Youth and Parent Leadership Programs.
