Refugee Women’s Alliance is a nationally-recognized, multi-ethnic, nonprofit organization that provides award-winning services to refugee and immigrant families. ReWA was founded in the Rainier Valley in 1985 and is one of the original refugee and immigrant service providers in Seattle. ReWA staff speaks 24 languages and provides families with services and programs including:

  • English as Second Language classes and family literacy programs

  • Job readiness, job training, job search and job placement/retention services

  • WorkFirst Customized Job Skill Training (CJST)

  • Developmental Disabilities Program tailored for refugee and immigrant families

  • Domestic Violence Program and Human Trafficking Programs

  • Early Childhood Education Program with a fully-licensed daycare on site

  • Youth Program including after-school homework and skill-building help

  • Family Support Program and Parent Education Program

  • Citizenship and Naturalization Programs

  • Basic Food Program

  • Senior Nutrition Fitness & Health Program
