The newly expanded Columbia Branch Library has more seating, 24 public computers and better access for people with disabilities. The updated collection includes materials in Chinese, Spanish and Vietnamese with smaller collections in Somali, Oromo, Amharic, Tigrinya and Tagalong. Also available are materials for people who are learning English as a second language. The library has a new children’s room, study room and meeting room. For check-out, there are books, videos, DVDs, CDs and magazines. The library’s monthly flyer lists the dates and times of programs including story times at the Columbia Branch.
