Rainier Vista youth and their families are invited to garden with Anza Muenchow in the children's garden between building 500 and REWA. This garden, named Lady Bug Garden, is a small outdoor classroom where Anza teaches food growing and all aspects of organic gardening. Residents may be assigned a space to grow their own food or flowers. The emphasis is on having fun while learning and increasing your physical skills. For more information, contact Anza at 206-913-1641, or see her on Wednesday or Thursday afternoons in the garden. After school is out in June, watch for more classes offered in the youth garden.
