Community at Rainier Vista

Situated on either side of Martin Luther King, Jr. Way South, near the intersection of South Columbian Way, Rainier Vista is in the very heart of Rainier Valley - one of the most culturally diverse neighborhoods in the entire country. Rainier Vista alone has at least 14 different languages spoken.

Kids of all ages enjoy playing basketball on the court at Rainier Vista Park

Rainier Vista includes parks that create open space for people to meet neighbors, play with their children and picnic with large to small groups. The Rainier Vista Park - the largest and most central park at Rainier Vista - opened in June 2006 and includes play equipment for children, picnic tables and benches, beautiful landscaping and a large grassy area for picnicking and playing.

Gamelin House

Seattle Housing has partnered with other organizations that offer critical services, including housing for the elderly and disabled, job assistance, and services geared toward children and youth. Specialized housing for seniors and people with disabilities is offered by Providence Health System at Gamelin House and Housing Resources Group at Genesee Housing.
