Design Guidelines
Private builders are
required to follow design guidelines outlined in
Seattle Housing's Design Book in order to make
the new neighborhood seamless with the
surrounding community. Residents participated in
a visual survey to help choose the designs and the results can be accessed by
clicking on the links below.
The current Rainier Vista
Design Book is being revised and edited by the
Rainier Vista Homeowners Association. Any
questions in reference to the approval process
of making revisions to homes or to the overall
guidelines should be directed to the Homeowners
Association site manager. Some people will also
have the opportunity to own homes by contributing
sweat equity through
Habitat
for Humanity or by using various assistance
programs.
