Duties: Will perform a variety of
technical secretarial & administrative tasks in support of an assigned function.
Requirements: Four years of
responsible secretarial or clerical experience. Any combination equivalent to
graduation from high school including or supplemented by college-level courses
in secretarial science, business administration or related field. Excellent
keyboard skills of 50 words per minute. PC skills tests will be given to all
finalists. Covered by OPEIU Local 8.

Asset Management Information Specialist

Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is looking for
a data guru to manage property data and reporting in support of its Asset
Management department. This position requires an individual with advanced skills
in Excel, Access and/or SQL. The role we are looking to fill is very specific - you
must have the ability to respond to ad hoc information requests by designing and
executing original queries to extract information from a multitude of data
sources. Our ideal candidate will truly “own” the data, and put equal effort
into its maintenance and cleaning.
The ideal candidate should also have:

At least two years experience in data
management;
-
Two years related college level courses or
two additional years of data management experience;

The ability to maintain data integrity and
work with complex data table structures; and,
-
Good problem-solving skills, be well
organized and a team player.

Property management or asset management
related experience is a plus

applications for Property Manager.
Duties: Will perform or provide oversight to
lease enforcement, maintenance and building coverage management, crime
prevention, and community activities, etc., in designated portfolios. Ensure
staff and resident compliance with appropriate housing rules and regulations,
with community rules, with lease provisions, and with customer service goals.
Enforce personnel rules and regulations. Recommend hiring and conduct evaluation
of all assigned personnel.
Requirements: Must have at least five years
experience in residential property management plus a Bachelor’s degree in
Business, Property Management, Social Services, Human Services, Public
Administration, or related fields; OR may substitute additional four years of
relevant work experience for the required degree. Must obtain Tax Credit
certification within 12 months.

our Impact Property Management (IPM) portfolio. One job type is site based and
must live on site, one type is a floater, with varying site assignments.
Duties: Will support the duties of the daily
operations and upkeep of the building, implementing and administering policies
for the Housing Authority assist in general management, custodial duties and
grounds. Respond to emergency situations, monitor the security of the assigned building(s) and building residents and work cooperatively with various staff and
agencies that serve the assigned buildings. May be subject to assignments in
other buildings.
Requirements: Must have experience in apartment
management or in the janitorial area and the ability to work with seniors,
persons with disabilities, and families. Computer & Office experience a plus. Will also need to exercise discretion in regard to those duties that may require
entry to residential units. Experience and knowledge of standard cleaning
equipment. Site based job required to live on site. Applicants must pass a
complete background check and reference investigation. Position is covered by

Duties: Perform garbage can and container routes. Operate
stationary compactor; refuse trucks, and other commercial vehicles. Remove
trash, and rubbish from grounds. Complete reports; make recommendations in
assigned areas regarding trash removal; schedule vehicle inspections and
correction of deficiencies. Maintain trucks in good operating condition.
Requirements: Must have two years work experience in solid
waste or related field. Must perform repetitive lifting and dumping of garbage
cans and complete routes on time. Must possess and maintain good driving record
and valid Washington driver’s license Class A or B CDL with air brakes
endorsement, plus fully insurable driving record; must possess Hazmat
endorsement; must be able to drive refuse truck; must be able to work designated
holidays. Must work well with staff, residents and the general public.
Basic mechanical abilities and understanding of hydraulics. Union
membership required within 30 days of employment.
