Seattle Housing
collaborates with nonprofits, foundations to promote
economic advancement |
 |
|
Studies repeatedly show that
providing relevant services to residents working toward
financial security is a critical component in their success.
Because Seattle Housing Authority does not have a dedicated
funding stream for this purpose, the agency is participating
with other organizations to support resident efforts.
Two new initiatives focus
specifically on helping residents to increase their asset
base and to obtain post-secondary credentials that will
assist them in gaining better-paying jobs. |
