SHA's Fiscal Year 2006 Budget Adopted
SEATTLE—July 8, 2005—The
SHA Board of Commissioners adopted the Fiscal Year 2006
Budget that will help SHA continue to seek ways of becoming
more entrepreneurial.

SEATTLE—June 17, 2005—The
Pike Place Market Preservation and Development Authority
assumed ownership of Market House, a 51-unit apartment
building for low-income seniors and people with disabilities

Changes
made to Section 8 program policies and Public Housing rent
policy
SEATTLE—July 5, 2005—Seattle
Housing Authority’s Board approved changes to the Section 8
Housing Choice Voucher Program in order to lower costs and
issue more vouchers, as well as made changes to the Public
Housing rent policy. The changes were made with input from
the community and will help better serve residents.
