SHA to present annual plan and
budget to community on June 15
SEATTLE—June 1, 2004—Residents
and community members are invited to attend the 2005
Budget and “Moving To new Ways” Annual Plan public
hearing. The plans will be presented at 5:30 p.m.
on June 15 at the PorchLight housing center at
907 NW Ballard Way.
The new plans build on past work of SHA and suggest a
variety of actions that will continue the agency’s
efforts toward better serving low-income residents. For

purchases three multifamily properties in the Central
area
SEATTLE—June 1, 2004—The
Seattle Housing Authority has acquired three buildings in
the central area. These purchases complete the replacement
of the 21 Yesler Terrace units demolished to make way for
the new Yesler Community Center. The new Yesler Community
Center is under construction and scheduled to open later
this year or in early 2005. For more information, click
