Moving to new Ways
Seattle Housing Authority is one of 24 high-performing housing authorities nationwide chosen for a five-year demonstration program called Moving To new Ways (MTW). Created by Congress, the program allows the agency more flexibility within HUD rules and more local control over its federal assistance budgets in order to reward effective management and increase accountability.
