Accounting & Auditing

Seattle Housing Authority seeks proposals from qualified firms or individuals to assist the agency with accounting and auditing services on an on-call basis. The RFP is available Word or PDF format (download Adobe Reader).

Scope of work

The selected consultants shall have qualifications and expertise to provide one or more of the following services:

  • Technical assistance and support for auditing and accounting system services, including the performance of financial and operational audits for Seattle Housing Authority properties and programs.

  • A-133 audits required for HUD-assisted programs and properties.

  • Financial-statement audits, tax returns, and management advice associated with low-income housing tax-credit limited partnerships established by Seattle Housing Authority.

  • Accounting and financial analysis.

  • Accounting and management advice.

  • Financial system and internal control review, evaluation, and reporting.

  • Analysis and redesign of work processes.

  • Process improvement recommendations.

  • Other special studies and management services, as required.
