Civil Engineering
Seattle Housing Authority seeks a statement of qualifications from qualified professional architecture and engineering firms to perform civil engineering services. The RFQ is available Word or PDF format (download Adobe Reader).
Scope of work
The selected consultants shall have qualifications and experience to provide services in all aspects of civil engineering, including but not limited to:
- Drainage design.
- Identification of potential slide risks.
- Reduction of flooding potential, drainage and dewatering.
- Erosion control.
- Grading and regrading.
- Street and walkway improvements or repairs.
- Boundary and/or topographic surveys of properties and transit land surveys necessary for the support of civil engineering tasks. (Note: Firms interested only in surveying may apply for placement on Seattle Housing Authority's land survey roster by contacting Don Tucker at 206-615-3475).
- Cost estimating.
- Preparation of construction and permit documents.
- Assistance with bidding and contractor selection.
- Construction management.
