Landscape Architecture
Seattle Housing Authority seeks a statement of qualifications from qualified professional architecture and engineering firms to perform landscape architecture services. The RFQ is available Word or PDF format (download Adobe Reader).
Scope of work
The selected consultants shall have qualifications and experience to provide a variety of grounds related projects, including but not limited to:
- New construction landscape design and significant landscape renovations.
- Reduction of flooding potential.
- Drainage and dewatering.
- Erosion control.
- Identification of slide potential risks.
- Grading and regarding.
- Street and walkway improvements or repairs.
- New vegetation planting designs.
- Tree preservation.
- Trimming/removal of existing foliage and vegetation.
- New playground design and installations or improvements to existing playground facilities.
- Cost estimating.
- Preparation of construction and permit documents.
- Assistance with bidding and contractor selection.
- Construction management.
