How to Apply
To apply for the Impact Property Management / Special Portfolio program:
1. Submit an interest card
Interest cards are accepted at property management offices, or they can be mailed to the program's main office (120 Sixth Avenue North, P.O. Box 19028, Seattle, WA 98109-1028). The interest card is available in PDF format (download Adobe Reader)
2. Join the waiting list
After submitting an interest card you will be added to the waiting list for Impact Property Management / Special Portfolio units. The amount of time you will spend on a waiting list depends on the demand for housing and waiting list preferences.
3. Submit a full application when you reach the top of the waiting list
When your name comes to the top of the waiting list, you will be contacted by mail to complete the application process. Staff members will collect documentation to confirm that you qualify for the Impact Property Management / Special Portfolio program.
4. Have your application approved or denied
If you qualify, your application will be approved and you will be approved for placement in a unit. The approval is conditional until you lease a unit.
If you don't qualify, your application will be conditionally denied. If your application is denied, you will be allowed to provide more information to show that you qualify for housing. If that information is not sufficient, you may contest the denial by requesting an appeal.
