Impact Property Management units

Impact Property Management (IPM) units are owned or operated by SHA, but the eligibility requirements and application procedure for these units are different than other programs.

Impact Property Management buildings are located throughout Seattle, and come in a variety of shapes and sizes, including townhomes, small apartment complexes and highrises. Rent payments are generally 30 percent of tenants' adjusted monthly income. | Pictured: Logo for the newly renovated Alder Crest Apartments

Income limits vary by property

Income limits for Impact Property Management units vary by property. They may be 30 percent, 50 percent or 80 percent of area median income. In addition, some properties have preferred income levels that are lower than the maximum limits. The income limits for each IPM property are shown in the IPM location table.

Pets in Impact Property Management

Each property has specific rules about pet ownership. In general, fish, cats and small dogs are allowed. Residents may have to pay a deposit in order to keep a pet in a unit.
