Through partnership wtih Habitat for Humanity of Seattle/South King County, several dozen low-income families now own homes at High Point by contributing sweat equity or by using various assistance programs.
Private builders are required to follow design guidelines outlined in Seattle Housing Authority's Design Book (PDF, 24.8 MB, download Adobe Reader) in order to make the new neighborhood seamless with the surrounding community.
