College Planning
A college planning guide has been prepared by Neighborhood House and the Higher Education Project to help students and parents plan for college. It includes information on why college matters, how to start planning, high school course requirements, and financial aid. The guide is available in PDF format (download Adobe Reader):

College fair and financial aid workshop
The 2009 College Fair and Financial Aid Workshop will be held on Wednesday, January 28 at 6pm at the Yesler Community Center (917 E Yesler Way).
Representatives from a variety of local colleges, including technical schools and universities, will provide information about their schools and offer applications at the workshop. Information about how to apply for financial aid and scholarships will also be shared at the workshop.
The fair is open to all high school students and their parents living in Seattle Housing Authority public housing or participating in the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8).
