Self-Sufficiency Programs
Seattle Housing Authority administers two programs—the Family Self-Sufficiency and Tenant Trust Account programs—to help low-income residents achieve self-sufficiency and accomplish goals they set for themselves. People living in public housing or receiving rental assistance through the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8) who meet eligibility requirements may be able to participate in these programs.
The agency has established partnerships in the community to build a network that helps participants work toward their goals. Seattle Housing Authority also provides support, information, and other resources to help participants accomplish their goals.
