SHA accepting applications during COVID-19 office closures
While Seattle Housing Authority customer service centers are closed to walk-ins due to the COVID-19 pandemic, SHA is continuing to serve applicants for SHA Housing.
To apply to the Low Income Public Housing and Seattle Senior Housing Programs go to the SHA Housing page and follow the four steps listed there. Clients who do not have access to internet or a printer may call 206.239.1737 to request an application be mailed.
Note: Applications for a Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) are not being accepted at this time.
SHA Admissions Office Contact Information
If you have already submitted an application, you may contact an SHA Admissions Office staff person to check the status of your application by calling 206.239.1737 or submitting a message on our Contact Us web form. Messages may be left at any time; office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In most cases, Admissions staff members are available to respond to phone calls, voicemails, emails and website submissions within one business day.
- Clients who have scheduled appointments with the Admissions Office and have not been called regarding a mail-in appointment should call Admissions at 206.239.1737.
