Pathways is changing
For many years, the Seattle Housing Authority has produced separate sources of news for residents of SHA housing (The Voice newspaper) and tenants in the Housing Choice Voucher program (Pathways e-newsletter). In a few months, that will change. SHA is developing a single source of general news and information for tenants in both programs.
SHA will be combining Pathways and news for SHA housing residents in a single e-newsletter called The Voice. As a result, you will receive a more frequent, robust and effective communication with a greater breadth of information and increased opportunities for connection with the community. Expanded coverage and use of links will help SHA voucher participants easily access a variety of events and resources.
As we prepare to convert from a printed version of The Voice and combine it with Pathways, SHA is launching an effort to ensure we have up-to-date email addresses and mobile phone numbers so tenants don’t miss a single issue of the new combined Voice or other important communications. Please be sure to keep SHA up to date on your email address and mobile phone number.
- To update, you can go to www.seattlehousing.org/contact-us, click on the “Contact us form” and in the “Subject” field select “Housing Choice Vouchers.” Then in the “Select options” field, select “Update address” from the dropdown menu. Or you can call the HCV program at 206.239.1728, write to HCV Department, PO Box 19028, Seattle, WA 98109, or visit in person at 190 Queen Anne Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109.
As we prepare to pilot the new combined e-newsletter, something we hope to do by late 2018, we want to hear how SHA communications are working for you, and the type of content and coverage you would like to see. Please share your thoughts by going to www.seattlehousing.org and clicking on Communications Survey posted on the homepage. Or write to us at SHA Communications Department, PO Box 19028, Seattle, WA 98109.
We hope to hear from you with thoughts and ideas for the new e-newsletter, The Voice, and on the ways SHA can best communicate with you. If you have any questions, please let us know.
