Rainier Vista community creates a traffic circle mural
On August 16, the Rainier Vista community partnered with the Seattle Department of Transportation to create a traffic circle mural. The vibrant artwork is painted on a traffic circle intersection on 31st Ave S and S. Genesee st. The artwork is intended to be a visual cue to slow down speeding drivers. The mural was commissioned to the summer teen employment program, led by artists from the Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association.
