Free Young women empowered summer writing camp

Are you interested in writing, discovery and great escapes? From July 31 to Aug. 6, 2023, those who are ages 14-19 that identify as a woman or girl, nonbinary, trans, agender or gender expansive are invited to a free summer writing camp presented by Young Women Empowered (Y-WE) at The Seattle Public Library’s Central Library in downtown Seattle. Lunch and snacks are provided.
With a theme of "The Great Escape," writers form their own escapes through imagination and tools from the Library. Phenomenal teaching artists support the program through poetry, songwriting and fantasy.
Registration is required. Find out more and apply: youngwomenempowered.org/our-programs/write-summer
