Low-income Home Energy Assistance Progam
The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) provides federal funding to people with low incomes to help them with energy and utility bills. The program provides free air conditioning units to eligible households. In Seattle, this program is administered by local nonprofit Byrd Barr Place.
