The Center Park Resident Council invites residents and staff to a memorial honoring long-time housing resident and tireless advocate Jim.  

Jim passed away in April 2025 after a series of tough medical situations. Jim was very active about many disability rights issues and especially about transportation. Come. If you like, bring a finger food snack item to share, help compile a memory book to share with family who live out of state and share stories of Jim with neighbors.  

In the fine tradition of Jim's commitment to self-advocacy, there will also be an opportunity to ask about how residents can plan memorials for other people in SHA communities.
