Find resources in one place at the HCV Resource Fair
Are you looking for community resources or getting ready for the new school year? Join us at the annual Housing Choice Voucher Resource Fair on Friday, Aug. 28, from 1p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rainier Beach Community Center, 825 Rainier Ave S, Seattle.
The fair brings together community organizations and service providers to help connect SHA residents and HVC participants with programs and services that support housing stability, health and more.
During the event, you can:
- Visit community resource booths
- Meet with the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services Mobile Office to apply for benefits, drop off paperwork, request an EBT card or make changes to an existing case
- Receive free haircuts and simple braids
- Pick up back-to-school supplies while supplies last
- Enjoy food trucks, music and family activities
- Enter raffles and giveaways, including a chance to win a $100 Visa gift card
