Expecting a baby or recently welcomed a new addition to your family? A free Community Baby Shower is coming to Carolyn Downs Family Medical Center on Thursday, Aug. 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Hosted by Community Health Plan of Washington and Seattle Roots Community Health, the event will connect expectant parents and families with infants to resources and information to support them before, during and after pregnancy. Attendees can also enjoy food, giveaways and opportunities to learn about programs available in the community.
