If you’re interested in learning job skills related to cloud computing or artificial intelligence (AI), The Seattle Public Library can help. 

The Library is partnering with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for the second year to offer free tech skills programs at three Library locations, as well as virtually. 

Programs include a resume review workshop, introductory classes on cloud computing and careers related to cloud computing, and an introductory program on artificial intelligence. 

Most programs are part of Amazon Web Services’ Cloud Career Discovery Series. No experience with cloud computing or AI is necessary.

This is the second year that the Library has offered free Amazon Web Services classes. Students who participated in the first year reported that the classes were accessible and useful. 

One student, Namrata, said, “This program has been a game-changer. The high-quality, free training sessions combined with the certification vouchers provided an invaluable opportunity for me to skill up without financial worry.”

Namrata also praised “the outstanding caliber of the instructors. They make every session engaging, practical, and fun.”

The Seattle Public Library is offering other free programs this fall that share information on AI and explore strategies for maintaining digital safety and privacy.
