Section 3 jobs program
SHA is committed to offering job opportunities for public housing residents or others who meet the income limits defined in Section 3 of the U.S. Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. The program helps low-income residents gain the skills and jobs needed to become self-sufficient.
Volunteering and internships
SHA does not offer any volunteer programs at this time. However, some of our partners do. Occasionally, various SHA departments offer internships which would be listed on our main Job opportunities page.
Job training program for tenants
Seattle Housing Authority’s JobLink connects tenants to employment, education and resources. The program can help tenants find a job right away, enroll in training and education and then find a job; get a better job; or start a small business.
