COVID cases rising again, face covering guidance revised

Local health officials from eight Puget Sound public health agencies issued a joint statement recommending that everyone, vaccinated or not, resume wearing face coverings in indoor public spaces. Their recommendation is based primarily on the number of new COVID-19 cases locally, particularly the more contagious delta variant. The Public Health Officer for Seattle and King County accompanied the statement with a directive. SHA is requiring staff to wear a face-covering when interacting with tenants indoors.  SHA tenants are also asked to wear a face-covering given the Public Health – Seattle & King County directive. In addition, tenants should continue to maintain social distancing whenever feasible. Thanks for your cooperation in helping to keep yourself and others safe.
