Prior to issuing households a Housing Choice Voucher, Seattle Housing Authority provides an orientation detailing the program. It includes information about participant obligations; SHA’s payment and subsidy standards; procedures for requesting approval of a unit; the unit inspection process; tips on leasing a unit; Seattle landlord-tenant law and more.
