Meet James, SHA’s Employment Engagement Broker

Seattle Housing Authority’s JobLink program connects participants to employment, education and resources. In a recent interview on “The Day with Trae,” SHA’s Employment Engagement Broker James Hunter shared how meaningful employment can transform lives and build stronger communities.   

JobLink supports participants by helping them with resumes, job interview preparation, career navigation and more.  

James is leading a career fair for SHA's JobLink program. Those who are interested in connecting with employers and learning more about JobLink are invited to the free JobLink Community Collaborative Career Fair on Friday, Oct. 10. The event will be held at NewHolly Gathering Hall, 7054 32nd Ave. S, Seattle in partnership with Bellwether Housing and Community Roots Housing.   

Participants will have the opportunity to network, explore career pathways and connect directly with employers. A resource room with be available for those who need to print out their resume, and Employer Concierges will be on-site for participants who need help navigating the event.
