SHA Housing residents, voucher holders, partners and community members are invited to comment on the Seattle Housing Authority’s 2027 Proposed Budget and 2027 Proposed Moving to Work (MTW) Annual Plan. Together, the Budget and Plan outline the agency’s priorities and resources for the coming year.
The 2027 Proposed Budget and 2027 MTW Plan are open for comment from Aug. 31, 2026 through Sept. 30, 2026.

After the comment period closes on Sept. 30, staff will brief the SHA Board of Commissioners on all comments received. This may result in modifications to the Plan or Budget. At the Board of Commissioners Meeting in October, the Board will vote on the 2027 Budget and 2027 MTW Plan. Once adopted by the Board, the MTW Plan will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for final approval. The Budget does not require approval by HUD.
