Discounted internet
The City of Seattle’s Information Technology department has identified internet service providers that offer discounts for low-income households in Seattle. These companies offer low-cost internet access for around $10 a month. Consider each service carefully, and take advantage of one of these options if you don’t already have access to the internet. You can also find out about discounted cable TV.
SHA offers digital navigation services to help SHA residents build digital skills and gain access to critical online services. Services include assistance in how to set up a computer, sign up for discounted internet services, navigate the internet, access the online SHA Portal, use contemporary meeting apps such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams, and use Microsoft word processing and spreadsheet software.

The City of Seattle has information about discounts available for various devices, including computers and smart phones.
InterConnection.org offers affordable computers and internet to low-income individuals online and at their retail store.
RePC is a computer retail recycler which sells new and used computers and components online and at their retail stores.
Free access to the internet
The City of Seattle has a free public Wi-Fi map that lists public facilities offering free internet.
Free technology help and classes
The Seattle Public Library offers free technology classes. Learn how to get started on the internet, computers and other devices.
Comcast Internet Essentials Learning Center provides free online tutorials on how to connect to and navigate the internet.
