Yesler Terrace Block 6.6 Juniper Apartment Construction
The Seattle Housing Authority is soliciting proposals for the Yesler Terrace Block 6.6 Juniper Apartment Construction Project. We are seeking proposals from experienced General Contractors to participate in the preconstruction services and construction of a new 7-story multifamily affordable housing project. Phase 1 of the contract covers Preconstruction Services, working with the design team during the construction document phase of the work including cost estimating, value engineering, preliminary construction scheduling, and development of the subcontractor bid plan and execution in order to negotiate a Maximum Allowable Construction Cost (MACC). Phase II of the contract will be initiated upon successful negotiation of the MACC. The General Contractor shall perform, subcontract and coordinate all work required for the completion of the Project. Proposals will be evaluated based on the proposed costs, including Preconstruction Services and other fixed fees, the qualifications of the Proposer, the experience of the Project Team, the Project Approach and the Community Participation Plan. Final selection of the Contractor may involve an interview in determining the contract award.
