The Seattle Housing Authority, Seattle Public Library and East African Community Services partnered to bring three Global Reading Challenge authors from the African diaspora for a series of community-based virtual events this month. The books, When Stars Are Scattered by Victoria Jamieson, One Crazy Summer by Rita Williams-Garcia and Sadiq and the Desert Star by Siman Nuurali, are available to view and download through the Seattle Public Libary website.

Two of the popular virtual events have already occurred. The third, featuring author Siman Nuurali, is scheduled for Wednesday, March 17 at 4 p.m.  Join on Zoom
