Family Unification Program (FUP)
The Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Family Unification Program aims to prevent family separation due to homelessness and to ease the transition of youth who are no longer eligible for foster care because of their age and may as a result become homeless.
Veteran Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH)
The Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) program is a joint effort between the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Veteran’s Administration. HUD allocates Housing Choice Vouchers that allow homeless veterans and their families to live in market-rate rental units while the VA provides case management services.
Creating Moves to Opportunity (CMTO)
Creating Moves to Opportunity is a grant-funded pilot program that assists families using Housing Choice Vouchers in removing barriers to renting in higher-opportunity neighborhoods that may provide benefits for their children.
