Lisa Wolters

Director of Intergovernmental Relations

Lisa was appointed as Seattle Housing Authority’s (SHA) Director of Intergovernmental Relations in 2015. Previously, she served for nine years as SHA’s Director for the Housing Choice Voucher program and Director of Advocacy at the Porchlight Center, developing and implementing the Porchlight Center’s strategic plans, budgets and operational procedures, and was responsible for federal, state and local policy issues and community building. Prior to joining SHA in 2005, she was King County Director for U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell. Lisa has more than 15 years of management experience in the public and private sectors, including positions with the State of Washington, YWCA and TRAC Associates. She holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from Clemson University and completed the John F. Kennedy School of Government program for senior executives in state and local government.
