Shalini joined SHA as Chief Information Officer of the Information Technology department, which provides technology solutions to support efficient operation of the agency and ensure staff can communicate effectively with each other, the public, partners, applicants for housing, tenants, landlords, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders. Shalini brings 22 years of experience in technology leadership, with her career spanning both private industries and public sector roles. Most recently, she served as CIO for Washington State’s Office of Financial Management (OFM) and Department of Enterprise Services (DES), applying technology with a people-first approach to create meaningful change. She holds an MA in Clinical Psychology from SNDT University, an MCIS (master’s in computer information systems) from Cleveland State University, and is certified in HR Transformation from Cornell University. Shalini blends technical expertise with her passion for human-centered innovation.
