Honoring the past, inspiring the future
Black History Month celebrates the courage, leadership, creativity, love and resilience of Black people in America. At the same time, it reminds us of the deep layers and complexity of oppression, privilege and power still very present in our country.
The Seattle Housing Authority recognizes that we all have influence and the opportunity to take action for change. We are proud to be part of a community
working together toward racial equity.
