NewHolly boys age 8-15 cycled to Lake Washington and other destinations this spring through the Boys Bike Crew program, a pilot project made possible by community partners and volunteers, including adult mentors. Bikeworks, one of the partners, provided 20 BMX bikes and helmets for the boys. The idea for the program grew out of conversations with NewHolly community members interested in expanding quality social activities for the youth.
