The renovation of all 84 units at Longfellow Creek has begun. Seattle Housing Authority selected CDK Construction to fully renovate the existing units at Longfellow Creek, Wisteria Court, and Roxhill Apartments as well as update the exteriors at Wisteria Court and Roxhill. Mobilization on site has begun with construction to occur from January through the summer of 2018. CDK will start work at Wisteria later this spring. Regular project updates will be posted to this page for community members and the general public to follow the construction’s progress.
There are a number of changes to be aware of in 2018: the Longfellow Management Office has relocated to Lam Bow Apartments (6935 Delridge Way SW); construction workers and vehicles will be in the area from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every non-holiday weekday; and finally, the management office will oversee the relocation of residents as construction continues. This process will occur on a building by building basis, therefore, if you have questions about your relocation, please contact Shazia Choudhary directly (shazia.choudhary@seattlehousing.org, 206.619.8743).
A dumpster will be provided on site in the comings weeks for your unwanted items as the relocation process continues. Please keep using the regular garbage receptacles for everyday use but refrain from putting larger items into them. The parking lot and surrounding streets will be busy during weekday work hours so please be mindful of construction workers and your neighbors during this time. If you have any questions regarding work in your area that are not addressed in future posts, please reach out to the project’s Resident Liaison, Liam Tevlin (liam.tevlin@seattlehousing.org, 206.245.8106).
Please continue to check Longfellow Creek's Community Page for future construction and relocation updates.
