The Seattle Housing Authority recently announced its participation in the Collaborative Case Management pilot program, which helps veterans obtain and maintain stable housing.
“By joining the partnership and CCM program, we will increase our ability to make sure the vouchers we have designated for veterans in our region will be fully used to get veterans into safe, stable, affordable housing,” said SHA Executive Director Rod Brandon.
The CCM program combines rental assistance with supportive services to help veterans maintain stable housing. It is a first-in-the-nation pilot that blends rental assistance provided by the U.S. Housing and Urban Development-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing program with supportive services through the King County Veterans Program.
SHA’s partnership with the CCM program will help ensure veterans in Seattle quickly get the housing they need. For more information about the CCM program visit kingcounty.gov.
