SHA maintenance teams have a new name: Housing Maintenance Services

The Seattle Housing Authority is merging its HOPE VI maintenance team, serving High Point, Lake City Court, NewHolly, Rainier Vista and Yesler properties, and its Impact Property Services maintenance team, which serves all other SHA owned/managed properties.

The new team is called Housing Maintenance Services. The new name is the only difference SHA residents will see in this change, which is effective June 1, 2024.

SHA is not laying off any staff because of the merger and staff email addresses, phone numbers and office locations will remain the same.

Residents should continue to submit any maintenance work order requests through the SHA Portal on SHA’s website seattlehousing.org or by contacting their property manager.

Consolidating maintenance services into a single, streamlined team will increase efficiency and better support SHA’s daily work of keeping more than 375 properties safe, secure and in good shape.

SHA residents should contact their property manager if they have any questions about maintenance services.
