SHA is joining the Sounders FC, Seahawks, Seattle Storm, Seattle Mariners, OL Reign, Seattle Kraken, and Seattle Unite in promoting a campaign called the Democracy Cup to encourage everyone to register to vote and vote. Voting affects nearly every facet of life, from safety to housing, to education, to healthcare. SHA will also be hosting voter registration event at various SHA communities on Thursday, Oct. 17.
Who can register
To register to vote in Washington, you must be:
- A citizen of the United States
- A legal resident of Washington state
- At least 18 years old by election day
