Are you registered to vote?

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4, and the deadline to register to vote is Oct. 27. You can register online, by mail, or in person.

Free digital skills workshop at
Jackson Park House

The Digital Equity on Wheels workshop will be held at Jackson Park House on Thursday, Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will receive hands-on support in accessing the SHA Portal, paying rent online and more. Registration is recommended. 

Government Shutdown

A federal shutdown will not change SHA services for now, and we will operate as normal. Housing Choice Vouchers payments, housing subsidy payments and all SHA services will continue uninterrupted through the end of 2025. Learn more about federal impacts and see a list of tenant resources.

The Seattle Home Fair is a free event that will be held at the Filipino Community Center on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Learn about rental housing rules, home ownership, permitting, inspections and more.

FALL PREVENTION PROGRAM

One Step Ahead Fall Prevention is a free program that provides in-home or virtual visits by a fall prevention health educator. The health educator will do a home safety walk through, offer tips about staying safe in your home and more.
