Meet local service providers, enjoy family-friendly activities, get free haircuts and braids and connect with resources that support your health, housing and well-being at the HCV Resource Fair on Aug. 28 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rainier Beach Community Center.

The NewHolly Family Fun Fest is back!

Join your neighbors for a day of food, music and summer fun at the New Holly Family Fun Fest on Saturday, August 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the NewHolly campus. Enjoy a free lunch, learn about health resources, connect with neighbors and more.

ARTIST CALL

Submit one to three original art pieces, a short artist statement and your contact details to be featured in The Voice or for upcoming SHA projects. This is an ongoing features and the opportunity is open to SHA residents and HCV participants.

All artwork must be your own creation, family-friendly and ready for digital use.

WA Cares benefits are now available statewide, giving eligible workers new support to stay independent at home and in their communities. These benefits can help with daily activities, home safety and long-term care needs.

CELEBRATING NEW FAMILIES

Expectant parents and families with new babies can connect with community resources, receive helpful information and pick up free items at a Community Baby Shower on Thursday, Aug. 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Carolyn Downs Family Medical Center.
