Last Friday evening, the Seattle Housing Authority informed constituents that we would not be impacted by the government shutdown and would continue normal housing operations and services. While there were no changes to our operations due to the shutdown, we want to note that over the course of Monday, Congress passed a temporary funding extension to February 8, which the president has signed. So the shutdown is over for the time being. We will post further information if there is any reason on or after February 8 to expect anything other than normal business with SHA.
